The Deep Breath Before The Plunge

How it feels to be waiting for a baby who is due tomorrow: Exciting, nerve-wracking, exhilarating, horrifying, wonderful, horrible, wild, structured, fun, boring.

Whenever I call someone now they ask "Are you at the hospital?" "Is the baby here yet?" "Why are you calling me if Tracie isn't in labor! I don't want to talk to you until then!" And so on. It's getting frustrating. (Says the non-pregnant father. I would say I can only imagine what it's like for Tracie, but she keeps me pretty well informed at how much she wants to have the baby right now.) We're excited, we finally have basically everything we'll need for the first little while (a place for him to sleep, a place for him in the car, diapers, lots of cute clothes, diapers, a place to change him, a place to bathe him, and diapers. We just need a pad for him to sleep on in the basinet we borrowed from Trent & Jessica, and a glider for us to rock him in when trying to put him to sleep.

So, we wait. We wait. In limbo. I'm betting on him arriving Friday or Saturday, when do YOU think Mr. Morgan will join us?

Since I personally have never had the patience to wait until the due date with any of my kids (Ellie was 37 weeks, Owen 39 weeks and Maggie 34 weeks--unintentionally), I can only imagine how uncomfortable Tracie is feeling. But good luck! The best part of life is on its way and I know you will both be great at it, or at least enjoy the ride.

I say Friday :) Hang in there.

I have no idea how dilated she already is so I could be way off, but I'm thinking a week past her due date.

I'm going to guess Thursday. Because to me 11 is a quirky number and he is a child of Austin and Tracie so ... it makes an off kilter sort of sense!

So Exciting! Hang in there. Get some sleep, you'll need it. And just relax. You need to soak it in now, because your relaxin days are almost over.
We can't Wait!

Let's see...

Mom/Kris was always late, far as I know, for each child.

I was always early between 5 days to two weeks.

Since Tracie is a day late, I think you can count on Morgan taking his sweet time before he is ready to begin his adventure.

Well Heather wasn't quite right with the timing. I was 4 days early with her. Ten days early with Troy. Nine days early with Tyler. Trent was a week late. Tracie was 3 days early. HayLee was 13 days late, but I think that the doctor messed up on the time. And Taylor was 2 days late. He was conceived on the 11th of September, only fitting he be born on the 11th of June. So there you have it for your mother. 4 early and 3 late, seems like the early's have it.

Morgan will just come when he's good and ready. Enjoy your time with Austin.

Looks like I had the closest guess!
