"I am not young enough to know everything."

"I am the only person in the world I should like to know thoroughly."

"If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all."

"Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about."

"One should always play fairly when one has the winning cards."

"Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live."

Yep, I would say these quotes sum up who you are and what life you're trying to live. You know (and quote) more quotes than anyone else I know.

You've inspired me to find quotes that sum me up and what I live for. I'll have to copy some of yours because they're so good.

thanks, hon. Apparently, I did this before, about 2 years ago, but it was only 4 quotes there, but 2 are the same as in this list.

Here.

and one more from Oscar Wilde, I think you'll appreciate it better than most, re: me.

“Quotation is a serviceable substitute for wit.”

you forgot the wilde quote about "The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it." I may not have quoted it word for word. Excuse my laziness.

I didn't forget it. I didn't include it because, though I perhaps DO subscribe to that quote from time to time, I don't want to, so I excluded it on purpose.

thanks for checking up on me though. :)
