Missing Mommy

I miss my mom. She came to visit and has been in Utah for three wonderful weeks. Now she's gone.

The first week she came and stayed with us. Besides cleaning and baking and cleaning and watching the baby and cleaning and doing laundry and cooking and cleaning, she really really helped us out. But it was fun to visit her too. We played cards and visited and sang karaoke. Morgan had a great time with his Nana too. She taught him how to talk like a monkey (oo-ooo) and bought him some fun toys and a chair he just loves to play with. Sometimes he even sits in it too.

Then she went and stayed with her parents (her "real" reason for coming up to Utah, but we all know the truth) we visited them several times, and I loved every minute of it.

My mom, if you didn't know, is pretty much the coolest mom ever, definitely the coolest mom I've ever had. She's wonderful and beautiful and hilarious and sorely, sorely missed.

Now we have to plan a trip to Texas, and soon! ;)

If you'd only move to Texas you could see her whenever you wanted. Just saying . . .

Awww... thanks, Austin... I loved every minute of my time with y'all! (I can tell Morgan misses me cause he just called me on Tracie's phone!)

Laurie: We will survive. Somehow. Thanks for your condolences. ;)

Ammon: We love you, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Dad: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Mom: See? We all miss you. The other day we were at Tracie's parents and he called their house from her phone. It's like he knows. Did we tell you he called 911 last week?
