Why so Serious?

"I only do this because I'm having fun. The day I stop having fun, I'll just walk away. I wasn't going to have fun doing a teen movie again.... I don't want to do this for the rest of my life....I don't want to spend the rest of my youth doing this in this industry. There's so much I want to discover."

I personally really enjoyed watching Heath in movies. I loved him in " Ten Things", and I loved him in "The Patriot". My all time favorite was "Knight's Tale". I'm looking forward to the "Dark Knight". I will miss seeing him in the movies. I know that whatever made him unhappy is gone and now he can rest. I wish his daughter happiness in this life.

What movie is he representing now?

I am not sure what Dark Knight is all about?

Okay, it just hit me, Batman and Joker.

yes he is. It's sad. So many bad actors out there are still alive.

This one had real potential. He will be missed.

I agree. He had real potential. I heard some guys talking about Jack Nicholsen's comment (apparently he said, "I warned him" - referring to playing the part of The Joker) on the radio this morning. It must be an incredibly difficult role to play - Ledger said in an earlier interview that he slept an average of 2 hours a night. Playing a psychopathic, schizophrenic, mass murderer has got to take a toll on the actor. Ledger said that it was difficult to get his mind off of it - thus the sleeping problems and thus the speculated accidental "deadly combination of sleeping drugs and anti-anxiety pills". It really is so sad, and I feel so sorry for his daughter and ex-wife. I can't imagine what they're going through. He'll be missed.
